Staying at Loei Valley

A quiet orchard stay shaped by simplicity and stillness.

Baan Cha Ba
(Hibiscus Cottage)

Baan Cha Ba sits just beside the teahouse, slightly higher on the land and surrounded by hibiscus, herbs and the long-established Fagraea tree that shaped the cottage’s orientation. Its east–west roofline gives it soft, shifting light throughout the day, with mornings that feel bright and open and evenings that settle gently into the orchard.

Inside, the space is simple, quiet and thoughtfully arranged — a mirror image of Lillawadee, but with its own character shaped by the tree canopy and the way the veranda meets the garden. It is a calm place to read, rest or simply watch the day unfold.

This cottage suits guests who enjoy being close to the heart of the farm, with the teahouse just a few steps away and a gentle sense of elevation over the orchard.

Baan Lillawadee (Frangipani Cottage)

Baan Lillawadee sits a little further out from the teahouse, positioned with a north–south roofline that gives it a different rhythm of light and a breezier, more open outlook. The surrounding frangipani, fruit trees and garden paths create a softer, more spacious feeling as the day moves.

Inside, the layout mirrors Cha Ba — the same simplicity, the same clean lines and natural textures — but with a slightly broader sense of space thanks to the way the cottage faces into the orchard and the wider landscape. The veranda feels open and low-key, catching gentle air and views across the trees.

This cottage suits guests who enjoy a quieter position on the land, with a bit more distance and a wider sense of horizon.

The Hosted Experience at Loei Valley

A stay at Loei Valley is shaped not only by the space itself, but by the shared life that surrounds it. Guests are welcomed into the daily rhythm of the farm, where meals are prepared with care and eaten together in a spirit of warmth and generosity.

We host just a few guests at a time — and feed them like family — sharing seasonal dishes made from farm produce and local ingredients, allowing your stay to feel personal, grounded and quietly meaningful.
Meals follow the rhythm of the land — fruit and herbs from the farm, fish from the ponds, and simple home-style dishes made with locally sourced meat when it meets our standards.

This is not a transaction. It is a shared presence, a gentle immersion into slow living and thoughtful hospitality.

Rates include shared seasonal meals and the hosted Loei Valley experience.

Seasonality

Loei has a clear rhythm, and our season follows it. The most comfortable months — and the natural time to visit — are November to February, when the days are bright, the nights are cool, and the landscape is at its gentlest.

This is when the orchard is most active, the fields are green, and life on the farm settles into its slowest, most open pace.

We do welcome guests outside these months, but the experience changes with the weather. Temperatures rise, rain becomes more frequent, and the valley feels quieter and more rugged. For some, this is part of the appeal — a chance to see Loei in its rawer, more seasonal state.

Our guidance is simple:
November to February is the optimum time to stay, with limited availability for those who are comfortable with warmer, wetter conditions beyond the main season.

Transport & Arrival

Reaching Loei Valley is simple. Most guests arrive either as part of a wider road journey through the North-East, or by flying directly into Loei Airport, which is less than fifteen minutes from the farm.

If you’re driving, the roads are calm and scenic, passing through villages, rice fields and low hills.
If you’re arriving by air, taxis and car-rental services are available at the airport, making the final part of the journey easy.

We’ll share clear directions after your enquiry, and we’re always happy to advise on the best route or timings based on your plans.
