Welcome to Loei Valley

A quieter side of Thailand

Loei Valley is a small orchard with just two guest cottages, surrounded by countryside in central Loei.

Come for a weekend away, make us a stop on a longer road trip, or stay a few days and use the orchard as your base for exploring the province.

There is no programme to follow and nowhere you need to be. Have breakfast in the morning, head out for the day, or stay here and take things slowly.

Stay in the orchard

Two cottages. That’s it.

Baan Cha Ba and Baan Lillawadee sit side by side in the orchard. Each is around 44m², with a king-size bed, private bathroom, sitting area and its own balcony overlooking the surrounding orchard and countryside.

They are mirror images of one another, with the same facilities and the same price.

Air conditioning, Wi-Fi, hot shower, fridge, tea and coffee and the practical things you need for a comfortable stay are all included.

An extra bed is available on request for an additional charge, including breakfast for the additional guest.

Breakfast in the orchard

Breakfast is included and served when you’re ready, any time between 7 and 10 in the morning.

Expect fruit from the orchard when it is in season, eggs, fresh bread, tea and coffee.

Nothing elaborate. Just a good breakfast before whatever you decide to do with the day.

This is still a working orchard

Loei Valley wasn’t built as a resort. It started with the land, the trees and the farm. You’re welcome to wander around the orchard, sit in the teahouse and see what’s growing. Some days there will be plenty happening; other days, not much at all. You don’t have to join in with anything. It’s simply part of staying here.

Explore Loei

A good base for exploring Loei

Loei is a big province, and many of the places worth seeing are spread across it. Loei Valley sits in a useful position for heading out in different directions.

Explore Chiang Khan, Phu Ruea, Huai Krathing Reservoir, Suan Hin Pha Ngam and Phu Kradueng.

Passing through? Stay a while.

If you’re driving across Thailand, Loei Valley makes an easy stop between the north, Isan and the Mekong.

Park at the orchard, have a quiet night, eat breakfast in the morning and carry on — or stay another day and see a little more of Loei.

We’re not trying to be a hotel.

There are two cottages, an orchard, a teahouse and plenty of space around them. Keeping Loei Valley small means it stays quiet, informal and personal.

That’s how we’d like to keep it.
